Hi my name is Pricila, my son just started C School for ET in San Diego and assigned to the Bonhomme.  We live in OH and he is loving San Diego.  I don't think he has been on the ship yet but very excited.  Looking forward to visitinig him at graduation this year.

Yay, I'm so glad you heard from him and know he's doing ok!  I totally understand the tears, I did it too.  I think they miss home more while out at sea and write what's on their mind and in their hearts in their emails.  I bet he'll have some stories to tell when he returns too.

Richard called last night. He said they were only five miles off the cost. He said that all was going well. They will be home between 3-4 on Thursday.

My son has been in 3 1/2 years, is in IT and has plenty of access to the computer, but I rarely hear from him...I think it's a matter of time mostly. Although I heard from him a lot while they were on their long deployments last year.

Thanks for giving us the scoop on their return alyssa's mom.

Margaret, I would hope that she could get involved with some of the other wives while their sailors are out at sea.  I know they plan lots of activities when they're gone a long time.   Does she have many friends with husbands in the Navy?

Thanks for all the info!

If my daughter-in-law is this lost for a week, I don't know if I want to be around when he has his first long deployment!

Does anyone know when our sailors are returning? I think it is this Friday (7-15). My daughter-in-law can't remember and wants to make sure she is at the pier when they come home.

Thanks
