Julie - So good to hear from you and to get an update on Kyle.  Thanks for sharing the pictures too.

Mary, So sorry to hear about Jess and his wallet, etc., just glad that someone found it and he will get it at some point.

hi everyone. always something. so, Jess just got up the nerve to finally tell me that he lost in wallet in guam (credit cards, check card, drivers license) - luckily he has his military ID. It was found after they pulled away from guam. So...they put it on the USS Denver for when they would hook up at the next port, but that didn't work out (not sure about posting those details). anyhow. he has to book his flights to come home for christmas. So...I guess now we'll have to use my credit card. I wish someone could call him and read the numbers on the card to him LOL. also, he has no cash, and has been borrowing from his buddy. Doesn't even sound like the other ship will mail it to him. He said he will probably get it when they are all back in Sasebo. Yep... always something! (hope Jess got his last box - mailed to him on 9/14).  Kyann is Hunter coming home for christmas? (sorry if I missed a post).

Happy Friday!  You're right danagagirl - love those surprise emails!  I got a "three word" email not too long ago.  I just laughed and replied, tell me more, tell me more!!!  Not complaining though...the three words were sweet :-)

Kyann, that's great Hunter got his package.  They seem to be getting there in a decent amount of time!  I just used Amazon for the first time.  I'm curious to see how long that will take.  Josh had discovered Mrs. May's healthy nut/fruit combo while in Guam and asked me if I could send him some.  I couldn't find it in stores so I went to Amazon and there they were!  He will be pleased when he gets that!

Sharon, loving your Hawaii pictures!  Aloha!

Take care all!

mary--great news about jesse!  i've been praying for ALL them!!!  :)

hunter said he got to participate in the steel picnic!  i looked for him in the pics, but didn't see him.  :(  we got a letter from him.  funny, how he still wants to write, even though technology is so much faster, but, that's fine, i'll keep writing too!

sharon-cute bottle.  when we were on vacation this year, i saw something above a bar about sailors, but i can't remember exactly, maybe i'll look it up and post it. well, since i'm not really sure how to upload it, i'll tell you all what it said..."ONLY 2 SAILORS NEVER RAN AGROUND...1 NEVER LEFT PORT & THE OTHER WAS A LIAR."  i just liked it because "Sailors" was in it.  :)

does anyone know if they have done or will do the polly wog ceremony this underway?  haven't seen anything about it, but i could have missed it.

marianne-hunter has posted stuff "japan" time, but i just love it anyway!!!

take care, all!
