Hi everyone, My name is Marla Johnson and I am the new ombudsman for the USS Buffalo. I took over for Jenna at the end of Dec and have not had a chance to get on this site. I am not sure how active Jenna was on here but I tend to use Facebook as my main way of communication. The FB page is just Buffalo Ombudsman and just send a message about who you are and I will add you. Please keep in mind that I try to keep the contacts to the family of the current sailors and while I appreciate your son's service to the Buffalo in previous years the information put out pertains only to the current sailors. If you have questions please contact me via Facebook or email me at buffaloombudsman@yahoo.com. Thanks for your time.

Can anyone tell me if the Buffalo is docked? My brother and I haven't heard from our navy sibling in a while, since before Thanksgiving. And that is not the norm for him. He always calls for holidays especially since both our parents are gone.

Marlese,

When your son checks in to the command, ask him to give your e-mail information on his Ombudsman Information Sheet.  This will give permission for you to be added to the command newsletter.  Please understand that this is optional for him though.

@mlm930, please resend your newsletter request to buffaloombudsman@yahoo.com. Include your son's name and I'll get approval from the command to add you to the mailing list.

Does anyone have the newsletter? I've sent a message to get on the list but no reply.
