Hello, I am in the shipping business. I recommend the USPS flat rate boxes. They are in sizes small, medium and large. You can pack a lot of stuff in those boxes. I sent one on the 6th of March and it arrived on the 14th to FPO. My son was out on training so it took a while for him to actually get it. It was a box full of Girl Scout cookies. I have sent another box of cookies plus a box of sunscreen. Do you have any other suggestions of what to send? I have painted a yellow ribbon for the USS Carter Hall on the front of my building.
I mailed it out on the 11th of March via Priority USPS and it was at the FPO on the 14th of March .. My son is deployed but Im wondering when he will get it ..
I sent all types of goodies .. Protein Bars are good plus I sent all his favorite snacks, undershirts etc .. I just wish it would hurry and get to him to lift his spirits as he got hurt and it would really bring a smile to his face.
I am going to ship out another box tomorrow so he will get them at least once a month ...
Getting the ribbon done was awesome:)
