So after too short a leave my sailor will be reporting for duty on the Antietam in September. As a back up plan we were thinking of getting an airline credit card for emergencies. Any suggestions on which one might be best during his time with the Antietam ?

Yes, Jenismer, Japan is amazing!! And we loved the people! We rode the bullet train to Kyoto and stayed there a couple of days, spent a day in Tokyo, saw Kamakura, and saw some other sites nearby Yokosuka. One of the highlights was when our sailor took us on the ship. And we had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the deck of the ship! It was a wonderful trip!

been awful quiet on here lately.   I know I'm guilty too, I mostly watch the ship's site on fb and spend more time there.   IF anyone here is on the NavyforMom's fb site and we're not friends on fb,  look me up  Elane Lacroix.   I'm always looking for communication with other LO's of my son's shipmates.   I don't hear from him enough.   Thank you.

Hey  Mike's Mom (S-PACT/Yokosuka,JP)  - I think both our sailors are in this picture.  Mine happens to be the tall one at the end that usually eludes the camera.  ;)
