It would be awesome for him to get the Michael Murphy!! The Master Chief that just left 3 days ago is headed that way to get that ship commissioned. He's an amazing man and that is a great opportunity for the both of them.

A couple of emails from our Sailor today, very upbeat but ready for deployment to be over. Doesn't look like T will be reenlisting while we are there. That will most likely happen in Jan or February.....wanted to be there but I guess pictures will have to tell the story. His detailer is 90% sure he is going to the USS Michael Murphy though. So we will be going to Maine a couple of times while he there, eventually.

Working on our pillowcase tonight so I can get it to Hawaii before the deadline.

Yes, Holli Jo will be sewing them together and that address is hers that was on the Yahoo Groups message about the pillowcases.
I find out in a few days if we get the Fellowship Hall on Pearl Harbor for the Sunday prior to Homecoming to have dinner and socializing from 4-8PM! If you message me your email address and you will be on the island at that time, I will get an evite out closer to the date so we can get a headcount. Mahalo!

We are still working on a CROMMELIN Ohana dinner for the Sunday prior to Homecoming. Please send any decorated pillow cases in as soon as you can. The deadline is Black Friday, but the sooner, the better.

The ship headed south to avoid the super typhoon. They are in a great location at sea, far from the storm and in very calm waters waiting for it to pass before they head to their next stop. E-mail seems to be back up at full speed. The crew spent most
of yesterday watching football and baseball games.
