Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Had an email late last night....good to hear from our sailor. Said same thing, email hit and miss...mostly miss. At least they all have the same story!!

I've sent 3 package since deployment beginning. I sure hope they ate getting mail too. He hasn't said that he isnt getting mail and he hasn't asked for the same stuff over again so maybe its a good sign

Yes. I am married to a gsm so they don't get to know anything really. He says that I am getting as good as his mother at finding out what he is up to when he is gone. Lol.

I also sent one Tuesday that got returned but after that they didn't come back. Thanks for the welcome. This site is a god send but it frightens the boys. My husband has been asking me what is going on with the ship because all of you helpful ladies update better information.

Hey ladies. The boys are silent for a while. Got an email yesterday saying they can get emails but can't.send them out everyday. Band width is to small

I think that emails are down right now. Which is really a pain since I really have to get some questions answered so that I can get the moving things started!
