Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome Jenny! Glad to see our group is growing! We'll be able to fit the pieces of the puzzle together a little more quickly now.

I'm sure the A/C of a hotel room would be a welcome pleasure for the guys at this point.

They do love their port visits.

Information Systems Technology Chief Petty Officer. That's the long version of it. LOL Any acronyms ya need, let me know. I can let ya know. It's hard figuring out what BAH you will get when you PCS, reading your LES, going to the NEX, etc. etc. LOL

Hi Ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself! I'm Jenny. My husband is an ITC on the CROMMELIN. We've been here for over a year now. Some of you that do that bills will be seeing hotel charges at some point. A lot of the guys are getting a hotel room just to enjoy a night of A/C which I don't blame them.

That's great news Sam! Shore Duty or another Sea Duty? San Diego is a great city, so much to do and see.
