Homecoming!!!!! Me, Me, Me!!!!!! and of course my husband. Can't wait! We'll all have to met up for dinner or something. T is going to try to get us a cabin at Barber's point, they are reasonably priced and on the beach. Of course, if you are related to Yankee you don't have to worry about that......I guess we could all just pitch tents in his backyard (the beach)!

Congrats to your Sailor, Sheila. It is always good to see them advance! Sometimes the boxes I send get there in one week other times it seems like it takes forever!

If you send the package to a FPO/AP address then you do need to fill out a customs form. Remember if you use the flat rate priority boxes the usps takes $2 off if it goes to the FPO/AP address. You can get the boxes as well as the custom forms sent directly to your home by going to usps.com be careful what you put on the custom forms as far as contents...be very generic if possible.

https://www.cnic.navy.mil/Hawaii/Newsroom/HNN/index.htm

your computer may come up with a screen that says something about a certificate problem.......normal, select continue....if you have a pop up blocker you may need to hold the Ctrl key down while selecting continue.

Once the page comes up select Section A of the May 14 edition and see page 4.

The cnic web site takes a little time to load on my computers, so I am guessing that is the same with everyone else's as well.

Well off to work....have a great weekend everyone.

Be sure to check the Hawaii Navy News, todays issue for the Warrior of the Week article. The other will have to wait until I hear from Sailor T and get more info.

Happy Mother's Day Crommelin Moms! Hope all of you received a phone call from your sailor . Our sailor called, short and sweet call, he was busy on duty. Those calls are never long enough though.

Have a fantastic week everyone.

Welcome MS. I hope your son is enjoying his duty on the USS Crommelin. I think he is probably in the same division as my son.

By the way ladies, watch the Hawaii Navy News publication the next couple of weeks for an article on

"Warrior of the Week"

I bet you can't guess who's son it is!! Can't wait to see the article, so excited!

Next time you need postage stamps be sure to buy the Distinguished Sailor stamps! I bought some just to use when mailing cards to our sailor.
