Debbie I am sitting here LMAO..River City...must be a NAVY term...Us moms and wives know what "River city" is....
My son did that tour on the Davis 08-09....then your boys came and relieved them, Thank you Crommelin....safe travels
My son also is on "that" team, an EN.....must have one of them aboard....
I just don't want to know too much that goes onboard the ship..
but what a small world to adopt the crommelin....this is awesome
thinking of you and your sailors daily ♥

The Crommelin's last deployment was doing Counter Narcotics in Central and South America - November 2007 to Mid June 2008. Then the ship went into Dry Dock for maint and repairs. This deployment they are participating in CARAT 2009 for the first half, second half will probably be more intense...we'll have to see where they go. They have a VBSS (Visit Board Search and Seize) Team on the ship that can board other vessels (my son is on that team...I will be biting my nails a lot the second half of deployment).

The ship does not always do the same thing on all deployments...they do whatever Mother Navy assigns.....keeps us Moms on our toes!!

Isn't it awesome taking a tour of your sailor's ship. Our son took us aboard the Crommelin for a tour.....even though it is a small ship I know I would be lost all the time.

I hate River City!!!
