I'm sorry, I consider being stateside the same as being home
Thanks Chopperdad..and dont worry, we all know..my son's on his way home now. Some moms, oh well,,Thanks, so much for your input, and help! It has helped me and my son, this was his 1st deployment. I would love to keep in touch with you, and your family. Thank you so much, Casey's Mom..Love ya, for all the help! And Thanks for the pics..your a Great Dad!
I also want to thank Chopperdad. This was my son's first deployment as well. It has been an interesting venture as well as stressful. He is my only son, and I'm very proud of his decision to do this. 2010 has been very hard on me as I've had to adjust to "empty nest" as my daughter also ventured out on her own as well. I have felt SO lost without "my kids". At least I know my son is closer now. This has been a learning year for all of my family. Thanks for the pics. I wish I could be there, but ALL I can do is wish and send my love, thoughts, and prayers to my son.
Chopperdad,
My son is home and has to leave to go back to San Diego tomorrow morning. We have had a great week and a wonderful Christmas! I of course will miss him so much, but I can see such a change in him for the best, this time home. I wont worry as much anymore..so I say! (LOL)..Anyway, my son said, he thinks he knows your son. I sent the pic's you sent online to my facebook page and my son said he knows a guy that his dad was going on the cruise. My son said it was chopperdad. He said he thinks your son is Warrner. Case said ,Warrner slept above him in the bunk. Not sure if that is your kid..but what a small world if it is!
Don't worry, at this point this big ship is sitting in port. Everybody knows where she is
flnurse, please remove your message - remember OPSEC!
