NavyGirlsMom - Don't be discouraged, it was months before I saw a photo of my sailor.  When you eventually see a photo of your sailor, it will be so exciting! :)  In the meantime, we are here to help and support you.

Depends are where they are at sea. Sometimes helicopters take the mail to them and sometimes the packages sits until they return from deployment.

My son came aboard the USS Fitzgerald on May 31. I am so proud, excited and nervous all at once. Anyone from Florida?

NavyGirlsMom, did you find the Fitz on fb? I just figured out how I found it...

On fb you can search for 'friends', 'everyone' or 'pages'. Search the 'pages' for "USS Fitzgerald DDG62" and it should come up. Hit the 'like' button for any picture or posting and it should come up on your fb after that! There are some great pictures and sometimes you can even get a glimpse of your sailor:)

Good luck!

More great pics on Facebook. You have to "like or be friends with the Fitz" to get the pictures. These are of the Towex.
