It takes my packages 10 days, when postal holiday is not involved.

msmom - how long does it usually take for a package to get to Japan? I orders some clothing and I won't get it until the 17th then I still need to add more goodies to the package. I just hope he'll get it on time for his birthday which is June 2nd.

Send the legos! I always send puzzles and toys! I recently asked my sailor if I should ease up on sending packages. We could sense disappointment in his writing; so we keep sending. He just sent us pictures of his buddies wearing the Mardi Gras beads we sent in Feb! There is a group called Care Package Ideas and Molly's Adopt a Sailor group does a lot of different stuff. Have fun with it and so will he!

sailors bday is coming up soon, planning also to send him his first care package. So far thinking of favorites; clothing, goodies ( candy, mini box of cereal), make him a cd with songs? Any other good ideas to add?  Was thinking of getting him some legos haha he's sucha kid at heart. So on his free time he can play and build.

Mail Call!

Sailor messaged me and said he received 3 packages yesterday! As I suspected, he was thrilled and amused! I continue to send one package per week, as I can't get him off my mind and he says when he opens the packages he can 'feel my love'. LOL.

What I look forward to is a great big hug.

Sending all of you hugs today.
