Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Eelishha...sorry I dont know much about yokosuka area, mostly tokyo area...but japan guide or gaijinpot are good sites to go on...hope this helps

My boyfriend and I are really trying to have me go there for two weeks and we really need help finding a hotel that fits our budget and one that is close to base. any suggestions...im planning to be there checking in dec 30-january 13. Was thinking of staying at a hotel near by then hopefully navy lodge has some availability the rest of the time if anything.... planning isnt easy, but hopefully when im there everything will be better.

well, im not sure about the exact schedule in jan, but my boyfreind said he should be back by mid december, so lets just hope they dont go back in the water too soon!!!

well im requesting the dec 29-january 12th. Do you know your boyfriends schedule in january...im just affraid that while im there, they are going to be going underway so im trying to stay as long but short as possible of that makes any sense haha
