Hi all!

ddcfrom: It is so wonderful to see them on the ships's pictures! Thanks for forwarding that great poem!

KatK and elishhh: Hope your time with your sailors was long and glorious!

Hi to my friend bubsmom!

My sailor is coming home on Friday! He is in school till Friday and will be hitting the airport here around 730pm. I am grateful that I work till 7pm, otherwise I would be pacing all day! LOL  I am not cooking or baking. He loves to eat out so we are planning to take him to visit all his friends and family while at his side and just stare at him a lot. Of course, if he has any requests for home cooking, I will oblige!

Hope this week passes really fast!

A Friend found this saying and printed it on Flag paper for me, I thought I would share it with all the other Navy Moms.

IN RECOGNITION OF HEROIC DUTY ON THE HOME FRONT

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Remembering that he is still your baby, no matter how big he is

Wishing kisses could still make booboos go away

Knowing that a piece of you is over there, somewhere

All your child’s entries in your address book written in pencil

Beaming with pride every time you see your child in uniform

Knowing that the land of the free is because of the brave

All the letters and care packages filled with the love only Mommy can give

The courage, strength and commitment it takes to be a military mom

FOR THIS AND SO MUCH MORE, WE HONOR YOU.
