Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

fitzgerald coming back to homeport

If you can  get the flight number you should be able to get his arrival date from that or you can just call the airline and let them know he is leaving Japan on this date at 2:30 pm and they should be able to let you know when his flight will get in. Will the Fitz be back in port  by then?

My sailor has leave for 2 weeks get to see him :) He doesn't know as well but I have a question so his flight is Saturday 2:30 pm  Japan time and he's returning to Seattle I'm not sure when to get him at the airport.

Yea, Fitz is the best!  Category 1 typhoon headed for Japan at the end of the week.

Hi!  I just got back from a visit to Japan and got to watch the Fitz pull in.  It is by far the cleanest ship there - great job to all the painters on the ship!  Everyone on board was so welcoming, nice and glad to receive hugs from home.  They are a great bunch and I was so sad to leave.  I just wanted to share my experience and send the love back to you.
