My Sailor boarded the Sherman in early March.  I think it has been an adjustment for him.  E's Mom, you are right the pictures make a big difference for those of us back home.

Our Sailor just reported to the Sherman a few days ago! Says it's awesome! I love seeing the pics and hope to get to know some of the families.

Hi, I am new to thus group. Our Sailor reported to the boat in April coming from the USS Enterprise, he was with her for the last historic deployment. It was quite the honor to be a part of that. I look forward to learning more about the Sherman and getting to know other families! The pictures are great, helps to know what the boat looks like.

I'd like to say my daughter has been on the USS FO SHO (as she calls it) since September...and hasn't had anything negative to say about the ship....the experience has been very positive....I'm glad cause the prior threads had me worried....

Probably no rest on Sundays while they are participating in these exercises, but I'm not sure.  They aren't on their own schedule right now, since they are working with other countries.  Hubby is doing well.  He went back to the doc last week and got the all good.  So he can start PT'ing now and such.  He still has a couple weeks of physical therapy and he's still not 100%, but hopefully he will be by the time the ship gets back.  Thanks for asking.

They are doing their exercises right now with the other countries.  I'm sure they are pretty busy, so that's probably why you haven't heard from him.
