ME, sorry to hear you are having trouble with your knee (and insurance company). Hopefully they will be able to see something on x-ray and you won't have to have the MRI.

Glad to hear they will give you pain meds.

Hello ladies, we were out town most of last week. I have been trying to get caught up the last few days. You ladies have been very busy.

I saw we had a sailor re-enlist, that is very very awesome. :) :) I think they get a tax break on their bonuses (or something like that) when they re-enlist on deployment.

Annie, so very glad to hear the good news about your son. It's always scary when your kids are sick, no matter what age they are. But sometimes, I think it is scarier when they are older, because they usually don't tell their moms until they are really, really sick!

CeeCee, I hope you hear from your son soon. Maybe him and the girl are fighting, and he doesn't want you to know you were right about her!!

I haven't heard from my son since the end of June.

We finally got rain. Over 2 inches last night, and still raining today. Hopefully it will be cooler today. It's been 110 -111 the last few days.

Hope you all have a great day!!!

Annie, Glad to hear that your son don't have meningitis. Will keep him in my prayers that he gets better soon.

wonderful news Annie!!!
Comment by Annie on July 13, 2011 at 12:32am

Well, ladies, thank you all for the prayers -- they worked! Derrick spent the day in the ER on IVs -- blood work confirmed no meningitis, mono, or strep, but his white blood count is up, so he does have some kind of  "bug" .  Anyway, they released him w/ antibiotics, anti-nausea, and pain meds.  Should keep him quiet for a few hours, anyway.  LOL ... I'd rather he talk my ear off ...

Thanks again for all the love and support -- pass the margies and carry on!!  :)

Comment by CeeCee on July 12, 2011 at 10:51pm

That's strange.....I haven't heard from him and neither has SHE.....that's not normal!!!!!

Think maybe they're on the outs?????????? LMAO *fingers crossed*
