While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Here is the specific link the USPS Priority Mail APO/FPO Flat Rate Boxes, choose a pack of 10 or 25 boxes and they will deliver them right to your house. The APO/FPO boxes are the large size so you'll have to order the regular priority mail boxes if you want medium or small. Also linked the needed customs forms that you can order at the same time. ALL ARE FREE. You can then use Click and Ship to ship it at a discount and you can even schedule the post office to pick the package up from your house.

Sharon, it is a reader to read the different size chips from cameras and cell phones with the little simms card in them. My daughter stepped on hers and broke it so sent her mine. it can read 5 different sizes. I think Im going to send 2 aday till they are all sent to see if they get there.

oh I will have them by the Gallons, I just don't know if I should send the next 7 boxes, I have 3 for my daughter and 4 for others on the ship. Im sending JH's next week. One box for my daughter has to be insured due to the contents, and I don't want it to come up missing. It looks like I am going to have to replace the chip readers already. I just wish the Navy would get this mess straighten out.

Well, I just gopt an email from my daughter, I sent her 3 boxes over 3 weeks ago and 1.5 weeks ago she got 2 of them, she said they have gone through all the mail and not box 1of 3. I have more to send but now I don't know if I want to send it or not. Those boy better get that damn plane running today or Im going to kick some butt.
Wooooh I just needed to vent thanks.

my "twins" birthday is July 17.
been looking for cheap flights home. driving the u-haul up there and flying home. she wrote on "the letter" that i could bring sugar butt because he's under 12 and won't count against her 4 but i am not driving a u-haul from nc to gl with 3 adults and a 3 year old in it. #1, not enough room, #2, not enough ritas or valium (and i gotta do most of the driving) and #3, for gods sake, he's 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nope, nada, no freaking way! don't get me wrong, i love my son, sil and sugar butt but nope, lol
