Sharon, I think you can have Airforce 1, we will ripp the insides out and sell them and then you will have enough room for all the mail to all the military all over, I will even get you a Air Force Pilot to fly it for you, and we will get you your own cabanna boys to help you with they loading and unlaoding.
Hey I have a couple of bottles of Louisianna Hot sause in my pantry, let me know what else I can put in the box and I will send it to your son. That way he will have plenty to get him through deployment. I think it would be neat to send him some stuff. What kind of junk food does he like?
Yay about the mail. I hope my sailor gets the one his mom sent him.. I am sending mine out today... as soon as I get his letter written. I hope there isn't a huge delay on mail again... i don't want all his things not being good when he gets them... and I REALLY hope it isn't stolen.. this makes me nervous now... there is nothing "valuable" in there.. but I do have some things I got for him in Cambodia.. and not like i'm going back there anytime soon.. so I reallllyyy want him to get them.
I haven't received an email in 5 days or so.. which is definitely the longest I have gone without hearing from him... I know i'm lucky, im not complaining, I received my first call on thursday, but it was only 7 minutes because of the line behind him and the hour he was calling at.. we didnt' really talk cause of course we wasn't allowed to really give me an answer to anything. It's frustrating.. but it doesnt bother me cause I know it's what I need to do... doesn't make me mad at him... but it makes me worry more...
CeeCee, the emails are very sensitive at times.lol.
My hubby emailed me again this morning and he said that other people have received mail today and he's upset cuz he thinks that someone took his boxes I sent him because their mailing system is so crazy that anyone can take someone elses packages... So I'm going to ask the lady at the post office about it when I go today because I have to mail him another package... We forgot one of his uniforms and he is going to need it.
My email went through as soon as I deleted the "if it's any consolation" and I wasn't telling him anything sad.....I sent him some pictures of fireworks that I took, he replied back......"how dare you LOL now I want to be home even more now"......I was trying to tell him, if it's any consolation, it wasn't the same without you" I would think that would make him feel good, not sad.............just sayin.....I WILL remember NOT to USE that word again LOL
KenH, so sorry your son's email isn't working....how are you coping? I would be going crazy!!! You're a lot stronger than I am, that's for sure!!!
CeeCee
That's interesting. I remember that they said to not burden them with bad news. Do you think they thought you were telling something sad or depressing? I guess they are protecting them. It's good but we will have to watch our wording!
