I bought a new blender last night! Only made a strawberry banana smoothie but it was good!  Don't have any strong stuff, does that mean I need to go shopping? Or does the Cabana boy deliver?

and yep, ready.......rain has stopped....sun starting to shine...not too hot, not too cold....doors and windows open........ready for our cookout and bonfire later today........fire it up.....I'm ready!!!

You are a wise person Collen...I am happy to hear from my son if it is short and sweet. I know that he can't share to much.  I know that he does think of his  family and loves us too, and CeeCee, I am sure your son thinks of you and love you too.

CeeCee - My son usually doesn't tell me what he wants something either, but he will tell if he really really needs something, and then wants it there yesterday (if you know what I mean). I am usually the only one he tells he needs something too. Like it's a big secret or something!! tee,hee.

I hoped for that this last Wednesday......but didn't happen.....I sent him an email saying happy birthday.....and so did his dad.....he emailed his dad saying thank you  but not me....won't even answer me when I asked if he got that email...:-(( So don't understand what's going on!

 

Well brbr3....my guess with that comment....he wasn't one of them....my son was :-(

My sailor wont even answer if he was one of the ones who had to stay overnight in port. His comment was,"that would not be a good night".  Got to Love them! It will probably only be emails for us but I am going to request a call on his birthday later in the year.

Yes brbr3.....I so much want to talk to him and just hear his voice to see how he sounds........that would put my mind so much at ease..........but as I said, not counting on it!!!

 

I know they can't say much in email........and I understand that but he could answer some of my non informational questions but he doesn't!! Oh well, not going to crowd him with emails.....let him come to me!!!

   My sailor has been VERY short & sweet on his emails. I think "GREAT" for them! They are doing their job & keeping information from getting out. Doing what they are trained to do. Even if they have us Moms going nuts and trying to drag every piece of info that we can out of them. :)  I would love to hear about  everything he is doing or done but I think it will have to wait until they return. I can't wait to talk, talk, talk. Maybe I should keep a list of all my questions so I'm prepared and don't forget anything. :) At this age my mind is a sieve!

Annette....you are lucky....your son tells you what he needs and wants.....MINE DOESN'T.....so I really don't know what to send.......He did say in an email that he hadn't gone through the one that I did send.......so obviously it didn't mean that much to get it!!!!
