Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please help keep our Sailors safe by observing operational security (OPSEC) and not discussing specific details of the ship's schedule.

Ships Address: (this is for Sailors attached to the ship, squadrons have different addresses). You must know the Department and Division your Sailor is assigned to ensure mail finds its way to him or her.

Here is the specific link the USPS Priority Mail APO/FPO Flat Rate Boxes, choose a pack of 10 or 25 boxes and they will deliver them right to your house. The APO/FPO boxes are the large size so you'll have to order the regular priority mail boxes if  you want medium or small. Also linked the needed customs forms that you can order at the same time. ALL ARE FREE. You can then use Click and Ship to ship it at a discount and you can even schedule the post office to pick the package up from your house.

Connie....they can tell us but we can't say anything, especially anywhere on the internet or through email so it would have to be in a letter or phone call that they tell us. I so want to know, I only know the first 3 stops and believe me, I would like to be with them too!!!

ok Annie here goes....for your boy!!!

karen-how cool...he can meet the fam.....waaaay over there....where ever that is!!! no my sailor isn't on the Bush....should join it in Sept....some undisclosed location???? i sure hope he shares the info with me...the itinerary.  it will give me comfort (i think?) knowing where he might be from time to time.

You all will see an AMAZING contrast between the silent departure and homecoming! Looks like the ladies are starting to feel a little better - I am so glad. Well, it's off to bed for me - catching a flight tomorrow to bring the boy home. Hey Connie - he's in TN tonight ... blow him a kiss for me, would you? :)

mommas did you know we can make a page of their pictures that ONLY we can see?  i don't know how it's done but late one night when i was surfin' around N4Ms i did come across a page that only members could view.....could we do some thing like that and not violate any rules?

well CeeCee-i am so thankful to hear this...i know my Sailor wants this.  he want this new Navy life and he wants to see the world.  i can't wait to see the pictures!!! i sure hope we will all share the pics our Sailors send...won't that be waaaay cool !!!!

Karen-port of call...you have family....how did you find this?  your son told you?  wow that would be incredibly cool!! as far as their itinerary can they tell us but we can't "talk" about it, right?  geez i am so "green"...........

awww my girlies...i see some of you smiling again. i haven't offered any advice and won't.....i am more new at this than any of you.  BUT i sure am happy to see in your words that your spirits are uplifted and you are seeing once again the unbelievable opportunities this adventure will bring to our Sailors.

uhhhh come Sept. when i am bawlin' and squawlin' will you  pass me the tissues?  will you make me margaritas?  will you send me those wonderful Navy mom hugs?  ummmm kinda think you will............... : )
