Patty-is this what you are looking for?  no big fanfare.  but seems to comfort some of the moms. 7 sec. commercial before the video starts.

It will get better ladies....my advice....keep yourselves busy with whatever, that's what I have decided to do...keeps my mind off this deployment but just think of the adventures they're going to have....going to places I'll never go to...makes me a little jealous...LOL

found the video of the Bush leaving, it's awesome, gave me chills to think my son is on that huge ship! Also makes me very proud! Love you my son!

Thank you sharoncede. Yes, I have the email address. We will all have a great Christmas. This is the first time in a few years that I am wishing Christmas was tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it. This is a hard time for all of us. Wives and moms, but we will all get through it with the help of each other.

No .. he is out for the full deployment not just 30 days.  He said 6 - 7 months but wouldnt tell me much.  He is a PS and quite tight lipped.

My son is on the Bush attached to the Trident Squadron ... This is all new to me, for the last 2 years he has been in RI at Newport.  I am so proud of him and scared at the same time.  I have had a hard time working today .. tried not to cry.  He told me last night it was crazy, but all would be fine.  I hope he is right.    He did give me an address  but no email .. is there anyway to find out the email address?

Annie-i just tried the link and the commercial only lasted for 7 seconds and the video of the ship started....hmmmm.

you betcha she's one tough cookie and much loved by her old classmates at St. Mary's a very prestigious private girls school...she comes back to see her old mates. here's a picture of her in the Vanderbilt University paper that i like.
