Got our last phone call from our sailor around 0600. She & a friend were getting ready to go up on the catwalk to check out the view. I am going to miss her terribly, but I told her I hope she enjoys her big adventure. Time to stop my tears and fix breakfast.

Maryellen - Hey!  I know V3 & V2 aren't the same, but I'm getting closer to finding a mom whose sailor might actually know mine.  :)

Also wanted to let you know that I felt bad for you when I heard you couldn't go see your sailor off tomorrow.  Will you be going to Ft. Monroe (I think that was the name) to see the ship as it passes by?

Hello ladies, my boyfriend's an AO on the Bush. It has been quite a roller coaster of emotions this past week! He had two weeks of leave and had to return to base May 3rd. I graduated college this past Friday, and it was very hard not having him there. Then my parents and I flew up to VA on Saturday. We had an amazing weekend. They left yesterday and I will fly out tomorrow. I had to take my sailor back about an hour ago, and we were both a wreck! Seeing him walk towards the pier was awful, and I haven't stopped crying yet. But it will go quickly. I'm glad to be a part of N4M and we will be able to get through this together! Thanks to all of your sailors for serving and know that they're doing an AMAZING thing! God bless each and every one of you, and your sailors :)

Do the terms V2 or VLA mean anything to anyone?  My sailor says that is the group she works with.

Janae- it seems all of us wives for were hit by this at the last second. My hubby's had duty Monday so Sunday night I was a huge mess knowing that was our last night to sleep together for 7 months. It's been a rough couple days and I'm not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel yet. My 5 year old is having a very rough time with it too. Luckily my boys are still a little to young to fully understand..

BARGAIN ALERT-our little Sissy has terrible allergies and we can go through a box of Kleenex or Puffs in a hot minute.  found Kroger Home Sense brand at $1.19 a box and they are 3 ply!!!! seem larger too!

hmmm wondering what's going through all the Sailor's heads right now....will any one get a good night's sleep tonight?  bet they are all excited!!!  i'll be surely praying for them!!!
