Hello Ladies for the Inn & Suites at Oceana. Son taking us on a tour of the Bush this afternoon after he gets off work. Rooms are VERY NICE here. I'm in the lobby while typing this as the wireless for some reason doesn't want to connect in our room. Tech Support will be working on that issue later today.

Colleen and/or ME, I will call you tomorrow sometime to meet up with you to deliver my PCs. Still gotta finish my son's "special" one but will do that today. We were up for a total of 36 hours starting Saturday morning and getting to bed at 5:30 PM yesterday....hated to go to bed at that time and leaving our son hanging on a Sunday afternoon but me and my husband were EXHAUSTED!! But slept for 14 hours and ready to go again...LOL Have a GREAT DAY everyone, I KNOW WE WILL!!!

Colleen:  glad you got some rest! 38 boxes .. OMG I am so excited!

April - That is so sweet - doesn't this all kind of remind you guys of getting ready for Christmas/Hanukkah(sp?) when our kids were little?

(Mommy - I saw a nintendo box in the trash - who put it there?  Santa must have, honey.  It is NOT your's - Santa is still watching you..)

CeeCee - I don't know about the spray on.  I also don't know if mine bled because some of the kids were very "intense" when they colored with the red pens (ie, flag stripes).

ME / Colleen - hope you guys and the rest of the PC warriors got some rest last night!

Have a safe trip all - I'll be hovering here, looking for updates.  :)

Comment by CeeCee on April 30, 2011 at 6:53am

well Annie, if I had time for that, I'd try it but unfortunately, I don't......Is there something that you could spray on after decorating that would set the color?

Oh well, we'll see what happens......signing off til tomorrow...taking computer with me but now gotta pack it away.....Safe travels ME and all who are traveling.....OH, WAIT.....THAT's ME (as in CeeCee not ME)  oh wow.....not enough sleep really messes with the mind.....LOL......Later!

Comment by Annie on April 29, 2011 at 11:25pm

CeeCee - I used the crayola fabric markers with the NJROTC kids.  Here's the drill:

1. Wash and dry new PC, no fabric softener.

2. Insert something in the PC to protect from bleed-thru and decorate.  Let dry for 24 hrs.  (mine still bled and they dried for 4 days)

3. Put in dryer on the HIGHEST heat setting for 30 minutes.  <--- I did 60 because I am really anal.  I think you can heat set with an iron too, but I had too many to do that way.

4.  Wash in COLD water 3x.  You can dry in between too if you want, but I didn't because I didn't want to set the bleeds.  I washed 2x in Woolite with a color catcher sheet- everything was still pink.  I washed the last time w/ Tide and Oxy, and everything turned out ok.

Get some rest ladies - those of you who are traveling, you are in my prayers.

P.S.  Here's your strawberry-mango margeeee Colleen!
