While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ships Address: (this is for Sailors attached to the ship, squadrons have different addresses). You must know the Department and Division your Sailor is assigned to ensure mail finds its way to him or her.

Here is the specific link the USPS Priority Mail APO/FPO Flat Rate Boxes, choose a pack of 10 or 25 boxes and they will deliver them right to your house. The APO/FPO boxes are the large size so you'll have to order the regular priority mail boxes if you want medium or small. Also linked the needed customs forms that you can order at the same time. ALL ARE FREE. You can then use Click and Ship to ship it at a discount and you can even schedule the post office to pick the package up from your house.

My sailor told me that they don't get mail during underways.
Has anyone been in contact with their sailor during this underway? My husband is new and still doesn't have his email set up so I have no idea what their schedule is looking like. If anyone know anything please message me. I need to know when about I'll have to go pick him up.

I sure hope it doesn't take that long. My birthday's next month and it would really suck to not hear from him at all. =/ We've been apart the past two years on my birthday.

I'm a wife and I haven't heard from my husband yet. He was supposed to have some work done as well. Unfortunately, I probably won't hear from him at all this week since he is fairly new and his email isn't set up yet.
KC11- My husband's been there since April 26th and his email isn't set up, hopefully they will set all of theirs up at the same time, otherwise I'm not sure how long it will take. I hope you hear from him soon, though!

I did not even get to speak to my son before, he arrived in norfork on Sunday night before they left. Don't even know how short this trip is. Hope to speak to him soon.

So I got information on sending my son a birthday cake while he is out to sea, but had a quick question, do they only deliver to ships deployed?, he is only on an underway now

My husband's been on the Bush since late April. I don't know very many people down here yet, so when he's out, its been really hard on me
