While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Awwww great news Bernapet! I gone one the other day as well. I think at Thanksgiving when his brothers are home we will put together a package. Always good news to hear from them and see how well they are doing. It helps so we don't worry as much.

Finally got some emails from my sailor today, he sounded so upbeat, he even said the rocking of the ship puts him to sleep at night! Sure makes a mom happy. He said he doesn't need any snacks right now, because there are plenty at the ship store. I'm thinking they get sick of whats on there as time goes on.

Momma Bear, no the address is not the same for all. Use the address your son gave you. With 6000 people there are different units, squadrons and whatever. My son is with a Squadron and then a unit as well. Trust he has his address correct.

wmg4 - I'm not sure about the address for Fighter Squadrons. It's possible they are different? I sent a message (on FB) to a sailor who is on the Truman. She has been very helpful in answering questions for us. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from her yet. Hopefully as soon as she gets email access she will respond & I can let you all know.

Momma Bear - the address below is the most recent address given out for the Truman (by both the FRG and I personally saw it in the mailroom on the Truman when I visited in July). It was different before....
