Taking an informal survey:

For how many is this your sailor's first deployment?

For how many is this multiple deployments - #?

What ship previously?

This is our first deployment....

Hi all, I've been reading all messages about passports & not that I know it all but I know that my sailor did get his passport before his last deployment.  I guess my common sense tells me that because they port in other countries that would need their passports.  I may be wrong but I'm just saying, trust me, I still need to get one for myself, in case his next base is over seas.

Thank you B'sNM! My hubby and all 4 of my boys now have passports, all but me. I'm thinking hubby is going to run away with them....hmmmm. I guess I need to get mine renewed just in case!

Hi all - Happy Tuesday!

Welcome Lorabelllee!

too tall Joan - So glad to hear that your daughter is happy in her new position ;-)  That definitely makes your momma heart happy!

My son got his passport before he left.  His command highly recommended it - but it wasn't a must.  Which reminds me, hubby & I keep saying we are going to get ours & we haven't.  I guess maybe we should get that done...hmmmm.

too tall Joan, I don't think it is really a requirement. But I think he wanted it just in case he would need it. Maybe if there was an emergency or something like that he would have it if it was necessary.

And glad to hear that your daughter likes the change to Yoeman. That is what my son has been since the beginning. He really likes it! :)

Thank goodness I took a "mental health day" no way I could have been at school today. Doing much better this evening. My big girl panties are on and I'm ready for a new day. Hope all you are bouncing back too

My son had to get a passport this time.

Thank you, glad to be part of this!
