The November FRG newsletter came yesterday....is everyone signed up to receive it?  Make sure your sailor takes care of that before deployment!  I posted the directions on how to get on the list in the "Truman Deployment" discussion above.

Hi all - Happy Thursday!

too tall Joan - did she have a different job & they changed it for the deployment or for the rest of her service time?

I didn't think the Truman did a tiger cruise, but thought it best to ask - I know the ships on the West Coast do....but if there is one I (& hubby) would sure like to know about it!

We are one day closer.....

My daughter was just St told yesterday that she will be a yeoman for the duration of her time. She is so upset & mad. However from all that I read last night it will be a good switch. From what I can tell it is more or less a secretary for who she will be with & it is someone that can work well independently. Am I wrong in my thinking not that it matters cause it is already a done deal & she had no say in the matter. Any other parent have any info on this?

B'sNukeMoM pretty sure they didn't do a tiger cruise the last underway

Pat L D (or anyone....) - does the Truman do a Tiger Cruise?

Thanks Pat L D for explaining the Tiger Cruise, hopefully I can experience it after this cruise.  Didn't know about it when he was on his last cruise.

Thankful to work in a high school where we are in session for Veterans Day so that we can teach about & honor all of our veterans. How will they know unless we teach them. Of course I cry every time the Star Spangled Banner is played.
My sailor has duty today but thankful that I will see her this weekend & tour the ship one more time. I'll post pics

Hi Sister Moms, BoomMom & Sherryl, I'm super jealous of you traveling to see the ship leave.  Wanted to go but wasn't in the cards this time.  I'm hoping to try for a Tiger Cruise if they have one.  Have safe travels!
