Aww I’m so happy some of you have heard from your sailors. Me well I’m still waiting. I just saw they entered European theater whatever that means so I’m guessing Europe lol it’s hard not hearing anything other then what’s posted in the media but I’m staying positive and enjoying this group :-)

Also, please remember they are working long days.  The ship is active 24/7 so it's not unheard of to work 12-16 hour days. Then they still have to eat, sleep, shower and maybe even study.  It's not always easy to get access to a computer so even though they may want to call/email it's not always possible.  Remember, NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!

Hang in there - one day closer!

Just a reminder from the Truman FRG - sometimes the ship goes "River City".  Don't be alarmed if you don't hear from your Sailor - they are doing their job!  (This was posted previously on their FB page.)

Proud mama - I found the following link regarding ship to shore calling cards:

https://www.shopmyexchange.com/scs/calling-card

They do have a toll free # listed and I would suggest calling them before you make a purchase.

**Please note that I have not used them.  When my son deployed back in 2015 he bought his ship to shore card at the Nex and I was able to re-load it.

Praying for all our sailors and their families! I miss my son like crazy already!!

Is there anyway to purchase phone cards and send to him?

Hi Jacobsmom,

I am interested in hearing more about your concert. I am a music teacher and chorus director. Where is the chorus located? What type of music do you perform?

So happy you are pleased with it.
