Thanks.  I was here before when my son was on deployment on the HST about a year ago.  He's on a destroyer now.

Hey everyone - Happy Monday!

I invited the moms from the Destroyer page to join us over here.  Can't hurt to get a little extra support for everyone!

I hope you all had a good weekend - nice to see emails are coming in ;-)

Same here UnitedNavy!

Ive been receiving emails at least once a day from my sailor. His only complaint is the chow lines as usual. He goes later or eats what we sent him.  Time to send more!

We just got home a couple hours ago. I love seeing Moms from other ships joining our group! We are one team here. This is my sailors first full deployment, as he was flown to the ship with four months to go last time. In spite of all our see ya laters this is the first time he had tears in his eyes which was tough on me.

He told us there are three or four rumors about when they would be back so he’s clueless really.  I told him don’t worry about it we will know.

We were at the pier and as soon as the tugs started pushing them out we jumped in the car and headed to Fort Monroe. They moved faster then we expected and they literally went over top of us while we were in the tunnel. I was texting him the whole time and told him not to squish us!

I did get a couple emails today - he said so far so good.

I’ll try to be on here more but no promises lol  We have 4 foster kiddos right now.

One day closer!

I won't be around much for the next few days since my son will be in town but I wanted to remind everyone to wear your RED tomorrow!  (I put the R.E.D. reminder up above.)

Have a wonderful weekend ladies ~ and remember, you are one day closer!
