I just talked to my son - he's going to the base tomorrow for the homecoming - wants to see all his fellow sailors return!  He said he would call me while he's there & send me some pics - woohoo!

**HOMECOMING LINKS**

I posted this all up above in the "Truman Deployment" discussion, but thought I would put it here too.  Hopefully one of these links will work!

I also heard the Virginian Pilot (newspaper) would be streaming it online.  Here's a link to their site:

This is the link to the Pilot's main Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/virginianpilot/?fref=ts, they will be doing a live feed of Homecoming Day. You have to "like" their page to access. : )

Pitbullboys  - I posted this yesterday - approximate times from the FRG....I'm not sure where cameras are posted for videos but they anticipate noon arrival....I'd start checking early!  And make sure you account for the time difference.  I'm on the West Coast and lucky for me I'm at work by 7am so I can sit in front of my computer & watch!

Ladies - just saw the FRG posted that the ship is supposed to be in about noon on Wednesday ;-)  They said if you are watching in different areas you should be able to see it around 9:30-10 at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, around 10-10:30 Ft Monroe, and Ocean View around 11.  The pier opens at 9am.

I just want to say thank you all for the updates, stories and support thru these long months. May every sailor get a hug and love. Sorry I won't be there, but I will be watching as soon as I find out the time. God bless everyone and one mor day closer YAY

Ursela - FRG says the gate opens at 9am but I'm sure they will be lining up before then.  I've seen on FB where some people are saying they will be getting in line as early as 6am.  It just depends on how long you want to wait!

JGMom - thank you!  I'll be watching online too ;-)

Looks like it's going to be warm & raining tomorrow.  But don't worry, a little rain won't dampen your parade!

Hi all - Happy Tuesday!

One more wake-up and your sailor's will be home!!!!  I'm so happy for all of you ;-)

Great sign Annams - love the hand prints <3

Jacob94mom - thank you for the kind words.  I still feel such  a great attachment to this group - and I've stuck it out this far so I definitely have to finish it off lol!  I'm just glad I could provide some encouragement for you all during these past 8 months.

To those still travelling - continued safe travels for you!  I hope many of you are able to meet up in person - share hugs from me too <3 <3
