No worries, your packages will reach them at the perfect time. And when you're out there the perfect time is any time. When they get that package their face is going to light up. So just picture that moment when you feel like it's taking too long. It'll make everyone happy :-)

I've been using the flat rate boxes provided by the post office, my husband has been receiving my packages in about 10 to 14days. Just a suggestion, flat rate boxes are most cost effective. I've paid $12 each time to mail large boxes. The max weight is 70lbs. Especially for those of you that are sending them frequently, I suggest using flat rate boxes.

Thank You. I'm not completely sure, my decision to go back in is a roller coaster ride. At the end of the day I know I served my time, traveled the world & did things most people my age won't ever do. Having my wife away is a heavy burden on our son. So I put him in the equation before making my decision. All this traveling for him, west coast to east coast, and not having his Mother around. I don't want to turn around and have to leave him too. He's in that stage where he's asking where his Mother is. I tell him she's on a worldwide adventure & he always smiles. I certainly have great memories from my time in the Navy. In my time I gained a beautiful wife & son & a wealth of knowledge for use in civilian life. It's been rough at times but we make it work as a family. I give my blessings to all of you in this separation from family & friends. Always keep your head high. God Bless

Becky, you are the lucky one. I sent a package the day after they left port in the US and there is still no sign of it...maybe this week...

Hi NYSailor, nice name. I commend you for considering returning to Navy life. I would go, if I was younger and they'd let me :) Thinking of everything I've learned since my son has joined, I would be proud to be part of the Navy family. Of course I am family in a way..! Haha, reminds me of what my son wrote in an email when I got on the FRG list - "Great, you're 'on board'! Well, kinda."

Blessings, NYSailor. I say go.
