Hi all,

Marsher, I love what you said, "The best thing you can do for your baby is have a strong marriage." IMO very good advice to any married couple.

My daughter is with the USS Truman Strike group and I'm wondering if anyone has good ideas on what to include in her care package, when I should send the first one out, and which flat rate mailers have you used? Thanks for your ideas!

Hello Moms and Wife's
This morning I woke up and I just feel like crap I feel like everything is going to change between my hubby and I. I get to talk to him EVERYDAY and I am so blessed for that... I just dont understand why I would have this feeling of my husband just loving me for our baby thats due in November and not loving me for who he feel in love with and married... Its such a horrible feeling... He is such a wonderful husband and one hell of a man... I just feel like he will just stay with me because of our baby... I dont want to have this feeling because I know its not true but then my mind starts driving me crazy and that "WHAT IF" starts kicking in... Ladies please give me some advice... is this normal??? Maybe I just love my him to much but thats impossible. :@) Hope this is stupid or anything I just want the feeling gone and never coming back...

There are actually priority boxes specifically for military. They say for APO or AE on them. But if the ppost office is out of those (and they often are!) the regular flat rate boxes will work as well. Cram as much as you can in. It ships for the same weight so the heavier the better is my motto! I use loose wrapped hard candy like pepper mints or Werthers, etc as filler. Keeps things in place and provides some goodies at the same time.

Thanks Wendy for the website... I laughed so hard imagining him getting made fun of with the things I was thinking about sending him... lol

I went and bought some stuff from walmart yesterday to send him... and I think I went over board... like $170 over board... lol.

So I figured instead of a couple of big boxes.. I will send a bunch of little boxes... just so he gets more days of mail call... I think that will make him happy.

I actually had fun shopping yesterday for things to get him.

I hope that all of yalls soldiers are doing well... mine has said the water has been pretty choppy lately... making him feel like he's drunk... but other then that, he's good.
