Hi B's ! Love the Monday pic! I'm still waiting for my son to do the work for the FRG because I want to order an ornament or 2. Hope we get a call at some point too, but for now  I'll take the emails!

Hi all - Happy Monday!

Texasjojo- welcome!

too tall Joan - oh yuck, not seasickness :(  I sure hope she is feeling better by now....

Yay for everyone who's getting phone calls!

jbird ;-)

GT_Gal - glad you have your granddaughter to keep you busy!  Hopefully it will make the time go by faster.

letyrod - my son worked out a ton on their last long underway. He's into working out big time....even before he joined the navy he did - just gets harder now to find the time!

You're welcome GT_Gal!

I think that's great your granddaughter has you to care for her while mommy is deployed.

Bless you..

Got a call from my daughter.  It was so good to hear from her.  I am keeping her 5 year old daughter while she is deployed, so it was a treat for her as well.

She said that I shouldn't expect frequent communication from her, so that made me sad. Thanks jbird for letting me know where to find the green bulb.  I've been looking for one.

Almost a week in and have heard from my son a couple times. I hope everyone is doing well. It's nice to see the comments from others so we can follow along with the ship and sailors. Busy week coming up with Thanksgiving and you can be sure I will set a place for my sailor and his shipmates. Happy Sunday friends and God bless.

As Jesus said "Peace, be still" which is my prayer for the rough seas...

I agree that knowing specifically what to pray for is good.

Thank you for sharing too tall.

God bless each and every sailor about the Harry S. Truman, her surrounding fleet and all of our guys and girls serving in all branches.

PS- is anyone aware of the green light campaign? You're suppose to put a green light bulb in, for example, your entry way lighting to show your support for our military. I've had a hard time finding green light bulbs as this is catching on but I finally found 2 today at lowes.

Bless you Navy sisters and welcome to everyone who's just recently joined.

Jbird

Very rough seas yesterday & today and my sailor is seasick. Pray with me for calm seas. I'm sure my sailor isn't the only one seasick. Thankful for each email so I know how to pray
