I have a question. My son is being sent to another C school. It will be from Mid October to end of Jan or first part of Feb. My question is will he
A: be sent to the ship mid deployment?
B: if yes, will he get the two weeks leave prior to being sent?
Or C: will he miss deployment all together this time??
Thanks!

I'm in for helping for the holidays.  My son will be on the Truman.  Looking forward to learning what to expect when they are deployed, when we will hear from them, ect.

Just arrived in Norfolk for the oceana air show to see the Blue Angles. Would be a perfect day if my sailor was here to go with us.

Sea Salt, Thank You! I agree with you, it is hard to just let one go. I also have a teenager and 2 pre-teens. They keep me busy and that's a good thing! I am trying not to stress so much and think I am doing a little better. I really do think it helps to hear other moms with similar situations (been there-done that) and some moms that have much better situations but are just being supportive. I hope your daughter keeps improving like you said. I have had a few good emails with my son. I have managed to not lecture him. We just stay off certain topics and talk about current events etc. ;)
