Hi all - Happy Monday!

Can anyone tell me if they have purchased a mattress topper for their sailors berthing area?  I'd like to get one for sailor for when he's on the ship but would like some feedback....any suggestions?

BoomMom I have toured the ship but never ate on it. Happy for you

Catsmom I didn't realize they were back together. I hope all works out for the best. Being a grandma is WONDERFUL. Not our sailor daughter but we have our first grandchild & she is 3 months old. Congrats to you all & please keep us posted. You have our support on here

Wow Catsmom!  Congrats to you on the GMA club.  My hubby is going to be soooooo jealous!  He wants to be a GPA so bad LOL.  Hopefully this will be the nudge that her hubby needs to step up and be the kind of loving husband (and father) she deserves.... Good luck and keep us posted!

Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I posted, but I do read everything. I got a phone call from my girl yesterday, she said she had been in medical, she thought she had food poisoning, but it turns out I am going to be a grandma! I am so excited, she is in shock..LOL She said her and her hubby were being very careful, but it happens. I am just worried and Praying that her husband will grow up now. As I am still distraught that she took him back after all he did while they were deployed. But I am happy to join the Grandma club. She doesn't want me to post on Facebook yet.

Hi all - Happy Friday!  Got my red shirt on ;-)

BoomMom - sounds like perfect timing for you!  I know we will get our chance too (hopefully sooner rather than later!).  So far so good with our sailor...

Have a great weekend all.

B'sNukeMmom... It was just the right timing for us to spend Easter with him (escaping the cold of Buffalo), and the ship being in port AND open for food.  Quite the experience.  It's a massive ship.  And California is a long way away.  Hope you can get there some time.  Hope all is well with your sailor.

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!

BoomMom - we spoke with our sailor yesterday & he mentioned the Easter dinner on the ship. (We are in CA & haven't made it to VA yet!)  That's awesome that you got to do that - I hope that sometime soon hubby & I can make it there and get a visit of the ship ;-)  Glad you had a nice time!

It was a wonderful visit with my son.  Especially unique was having Easter dinner aboard the ship.  Didn't expect that but he kept it as a surprise.  Sure is big.  Couldn't hug him enough.

Yay - just got a call from my sailor (we didn't get to talk to him on Easter).  I'm a happy momma right now!  It's good to hear him excited about his ship ;-)
