Carol Ann, sounds like he knows exactly what he wants, that is awesome! Wish him the best. He sounds like he will be an amazing teacher. I am sure by the time he gets through school a lot of the cussing will be in the past. And he already has control, so it should be fine. :-)

Have a good day everyone!

Good morning everyone! Navymom2, I went on teespring.com checking out how to make Call Your Mama Sailor tshirt! LOL Silly?...Yes...will I do it and stop talking about it...probably not. LOL Navy blue shirt with yellow lettering and yellow anchor. Looks good, but it's fun to keep you all laughing about me saying that!  I hope you heard from your son though. Take care everyone!

Well Carol Ann, just remember that Michigan State is the reigning Rose Bowl champion! As long as it stays in Michigan, I'm happy!  Beat Ohio!!

Thank you BusyMom, Catsmom, and GrandmaBarB!  I knew my Navy Sisters would come through for me.  Long distance parenting is "tricky" to say the least... lol   I kept thinking about Coach Sheila's Call Your Mom shirts... :)  Luv all the photos - thanks for sharing.

He has talked about going there since he was a little kid. He visited 5 schools when he last was home on leave and OH ST offered him the best of what he wanted, the price was good and it was the closest to home of the schools he was looking at. he is getting his Mechanical Engineering degree first with another Major in German language. then is talking about going for his Masters in Education and becoming a HS Teacher and teach Engineering tech program like he was in for 2 years his Jr and Senior year. He wants to give back he says. He said Mom I do have one problem though I am afraid after being in the Navy my language isn't so good and I may cuss in front of the kids. I told him the fact he is worried about it he probably won't. He never cusses around me out of respect so i told him he could contain himself there too! Funny!

Carol Ann - I'm just glad he selected a Big 10 school. He will be getting an outstanding education and he will have so many opportunities!  Has he decided what he wants to study??

DARMom: Thank you! Even though you ARE a Michigan fan I think I can accept the compliment! lol

Congratulations Carol Ann! I agree, he is very handsome. I am a lifelong Michigan fan and alumni from Michigan State and I wish him the very best of luck in his studies at Ohio State - as long as they don't beat us in football! lol
