We just booked! We are going to do some Island hopping with our son. I pray that there are no surprise deployments while we are there. That would truly break my heart. I can't wait to see him!
Glad to hear our Sailors are heading home! Hope they enjoy their liberty in Japan!
My husband & I are planning on a visit to see our son in Hawaii this summer. Anyone have information on reasonable lodging & such?
Enjoying our visit with our son, Ryan. The time is flying by so fast. Merry Christmas to all you Navy Moms!
@ Drew's mom- My son is home right now so I will ask him & let you know tomorrow.
Help, need to mail christmas gifts and the fpo-ap address takes weeks. Can it be mailed directly to the USS Hopper and would it be Pearl Harbor Hi. or what, or call his recruiter to get mailing info.Thank you.
Thank you sooo much for the suggestions! They are so helpful!!!
@ Drews mom! P.S. Welcome to the Hopper family!
@ Drews mom -My son asked for a 3DS Handheld video game system. Also a Kindle or Kindle Fire would be a great gift if your son likes to read. An I-Pod if he does not currently have one. These items are small & will provide great entertainment when they are on deployment.
Good Morning to all you Navy moms whose sons and daughters are home from the USS Hopper. My son has just been stationed on the Hopper for the next 14 months I know that living on the ship there is'nt much room to keep things so what I need is ideas for things I can send for xmas. Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks
