Hi! I was just told my husband (sorry, I'm cheating being on the mom's page, but mom's know everything) is to be assigned to the Dunham. We were told the dates of next deployment, but nothing about where it's going or ports it's stopping at. Anyone know? If that is something we can't post disregard it.

Its not something we can post here.........but your husband will be notified the where and whens.........My son still hasn't gotten that information either..........as far as I know anyway......you know kids.....lol
Hi there,
Just wanted to say hello and you are welcome here always. Yes it is Navy4Moms but we always welcome wives and fiance's. There are groups on her for wives and how to handle situations that come your way so I am happy you found this group.
Like Maddie said we can never post certain info if we do know it but to be honest my son said it could change at any time so only your husband can keep checking with his supervisor.
The Jason Dunham is a good ship with allot of great officers and sailors I am sure your husband will fit in and be happy there.
Have you gotten involved with the family rediness program??? It is a really great group and does allot for the wives, kids all the time and plans for the leaving and return of deployment. If not let me know I just sent a couple of packages to a woman who runs the group and I can let you know how to contact her here or just post it in this group she is here and will read it. I think it will help to know allot of the other wives if you are new in town or not.
Take care Paula
