OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yesterday I got another e-mail from my son at the same time I was packing up a goodie box for him. I got so giddy with the thought that my son was thinking of me at the same time I was thinking of him.

Cool right

Thank you Ronda for telling us about the Commander, Carrier Strike Group Eight page on Facebook. I found a great picture of my son! It made my day! Thank you, thank you for sharing!

First : it was rain that NM received. Second: early morning call from our son was so wonderful to receive today! Skype is more attainable than Vonage, apparently.
