Welcome Julie! So glad you've joined us. You're right, it's a great place for support as we make this journey along with our LO's.
Thank you all for the very helpful information posted here! I am very thankful for this site and to have other moms dealing with all of the same stresses, same worries, etc. Looking forward to getting to know you all better!
@Tumbleweed I just posted them above under discussion forum so they would be there as new people joined us.
Take care
Welcome Regina!!! To the others I will PM you her email address.
I would love to have Ombusman's email also.
Hi all, If you did not get an e-mail yesterday with the pictures in it from the Ombudsman then you are not on her mailing list. It is really important to be on the mailing list for her and the FRG who plan all kinds of fundraising, activities for the local families and home coming parties I am sure much more too. If you need the info send me a message not sure if I should post their e-mails. Then all you need to do is email them and let them know who you have on the ship and your relationship. These ladies are wonderful and do so much for the ship we really are like a family!!! I just thought we could call ourselves a "Motherhood" lke my son says the ship is like a "Brotherhood" they all work together and let me tell you this past year my son has delt with the death of his father and then some and his fellow sailors and Officers were right there for him. I feel greatful he is on this ship and has grown so much.
Just when I needed it....received an email. Things are going well.....Just hearing from my son puts my heart to rest a little. If there are pictures I'd love to see them myself.
@ MissMySailor:
I haven't seen the pictures.. where do I look? I'd love to see them!
I have gotten a few very short emails. It sounded like things were going well. He said 'not-America' had been pretty cool so far. God bless and keep them all!
