Good Evening Ladies, I was just browzing on face book and found the Marines that are on the ship are already in Pakastan. They have a FB page and there is some photos from the 11th of Sept. They are delivering flour. The page is called 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit. It has got some other photos of the ship on there also.

yeah the NEX didnt have any Kearsarge items when we were there in Aug. They must have got the hats in because they didnt have them when we were there.

I have heard from other sailors that their sponsors werent much help to them either.

Hello Ladies, Cheryl hope you are felling better. He should have a sponsor, i think they all get sponsor. Dustins meet him at the airport and took him to the base. Just hang in there, were here if you kneed us i wish we were all closer to each other so we could get together.

Nine weeks that is a long time for a package. Hope they get them sooner on the ship.

Looking forward to getting the t-shirts and sweatshirts. i got a Navy hoodie and jogging pants while i was in Norfolk. They are really nice . They had a lot of nice things at the NEX

Polli, My son Robert is in the Medical Dept. How awesome it is to know someone else that has someone in the same dept. My son told me the same thing. This is his second deployment and he says there is nothing to be worried about. He says there are some beautiful places to see.
