Well just got off FB with my son. Said he called his wife last night for a few minutes. Said he was doing fine ready to get to port so he could get off the ship.

I love this being able to make sure he is ok.

Hey all, Where are you seeing picture on facebook at? My son as been on facebook and we send IM Thursday morning and have gotten a email. I am so glad at least I know he is ok. I ask him where he is he said in the ocean. I know they can't tell. He was 3 hours ahead of me in am in Wilmington NC. Me or his wife hasn't received a call yet. I am sure she will be the first but that is ok as long as I know he is ok. Hope you all have a great day. It is snowing here.

Glad I.m not the only one. I did finally get to see a picture of her in the most recent album. Their posts and photos really help.

So is anyone else checking their emails at least 20 times a day like I am?  Miranda hasn't been on facebook at all.  I'm lucky when she can email me, and she said I may not hear from her for a few days now.

I really look forward to the pictures they post on facebook all the time.  I haven't seen a picture of Miranda yet, but maybe soon.  I'm glad that you are all coming to the homecoming.  Maybe we can meet before they get home.  That would be fun.  I've been keeping busy repainting the house, and other home projects.    I look forward to hearing about their adventures.

I understand. This is my son first deployment also. He has been on face book the last two days. Said he wish he was a fish to take advantage of the blue water. Yesterday he send a message that he was doing well and learning a lot. His job is information technology. Said he was learning to set up the internet. They are getting to see place and things they would have never it not for the Navy. I just left his wife picking out wedding dresses. They were married before he left but are having their really wedding when he gets back. Crazy to me but it is what they wanted. I will also be at the homecoming counting the weeks.
