My son right now is finishing up in Goose Creek. He will be stationed in Georgia but I think I heard that the boat is in Virginia.

Welcome Margavant - my son too is on the Maryland! Is he in VA or GA?

Hi, I just joined this group. My son has been assigned to the USS Maryland.

My son is heading down to VA this Sunday. He just completed A school and has been staying home for the last 3 weeks! Having a family get together this Saturday and then saying our goodbyes! A proud mom!

There is no way to keep track of who is really on the boat on here so FB page is the best way! You can either keep up with your son on what he can tell you or have him add you to the email list! There is not going to be much info being put out though because of Opsec we want to keep our sailors safe!

Can I get to the FRG from Navy Moms website?

FRG stands for family readiness group. I believe all boats have them.
