I'm watching the news, looking at the Mason Ombudsman's posts on facebook, and trying not to let my imagination run wild.  Can anyone relate?

Oh and I also had an unexpected project start up on FB for our Mason guys.  I had asked a general question out to my family and friends on there that if they wanted to send a sailor a box or letters I could get some names if they were interested.  My response was HUGE.  Big enough that I had to start a FB separate FB page and named it 'Surprises for Sailors'  I have over 150 boxes from people all over the US now being shipped to our guys aboard the Mason.  If you know anyone that might be interested in sending care boxes to sailors who wouldn't otherwise receive anything have them find the page on FB.  OR if you have a name of your sailor or their friends on the Mason let me know and I will add them to my list to receive.

Some of the people have actually 'adopted' their sailor for the whole deployment and are sending a box a month to them.  It's amazing the support that the page has gotten in just the 3 short weeks since I started it.

Mssg me if you have any questions about it...  I would love to add some more sailors to my list to get care boxes.  =O)

Hello

Just joined this site because I found it googling USS Mason the other day looking for other wives with hubby's who are deployed on it.  I am MA1's wife.  He's the only MA on the ship, so I don't know very many other wives and thought this might be helpful during their underweigh.

anyhow I hope everyone is doing well. :)
