Janet--thx for the photos...nice to see and wow!
Betsy--glad you got a call! i had another email from mine, wish we could talk by phone.
crzygrl66--hope you got word, but I know they're all fine
Everyone keep sharing! great photos on facebook at the mccain page too
crzygirl 66--no word, if I do I'll post. or do you want a direct message? I don't expect them to move out of japan, our help is greatly needed.
if the media hype about the nuke plant is getting to you, turn it off. our guys and gals are mobile at sea and the navy will watch out for them. There is a lot of irrational fear about nuclear radiation that drives the media for attention. Not to say there isn't danger, but also context, its not going to turn everyone on the planet glowing green.
more people were in danger from the tsunami and now the cold and hunger/thirst. that's what we're there to help with.
I see on facebook in Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo there are photos of the McCain resupplying there. There are smiles. So good to see!
(mine still hasn't checked in, but as I said, there's evidence that they're all fine)
HEARD EVERYONE IS FINE ON THE MCCAIN..
Betsy
I didn't see mention of the McCain in the news either, but mine told me they are already at sea full speed expecting to help. My guess is that whichever ship is loaded and ready has been sent to aid. Will just watch and keep listening. They can provide so much--making safe water, electricity, cleanup, more. who knows?
