We are signed up for the Tiger Cruise. Our ensign sent us forms to fill out weeks ago, well before Christmas - medical, etc.

He paid whatever it costs for us.

This past week, he forwarded a schedule and other information about the cruise. We will be parking our vehicle in Norfolk and taking the bus to Morehead City.

Your information should have been coming from your relative on the ship who is sponsoring you for the cruise.

Another month down! Something encouraging, my sailor told me today they only have about 25 days left of deployment before they start making the journey back to us!!! real nice way of thinking out it

this is from a 'seasoned' marine mom - not much to go by but something to look for...hope it helps         As long as------ has your email and or phone number listed with the family readiness officer (FRO) you will receive emails and or phone calls with windows of arrivals etc. Dates always change etc.

Yeah I would like to know the same thing TinaG, this is my first deployment as well.

Comment by TinaG on November 20, 2011 at 7:01pm

This is my first deployment, and I was curious how the whole homecoming thing works? Will more information be provided when the date gets closer? Like expected arrival time and... I don't even know what else to ask because I have no idea what to expect....

Does anyone have any info about how the tiger cruises work?

~ Tracy ~  I think you're right about the post offices; they received no mail on Friday, maybe next time.
