I was told it was never official....it was up in the air and could be different. I could be wrong. My boyfriends mom got an email today saying they finally set the date.

How funny tracy... about the gimped out thing.  I know how you feel.  Ive had my share of stuff lately too.  :)  Gotta keep a good sense of humor about life's challenges, and hold onto the One that gives peace in the 'storms.'

Hi, all. I am new to the group. I hear/see/know that the mesa verde has had a very long deployment. And, yes it would be awsome if they would come home sometime b4 Christmas or the same week would be lovely. I feel for you guys who loved ones who has been gone since march which is very sad so i cant feel the same way you may do. My loved one fly out to the ship this week and had I had a very short to process it all. This is not the 1st I experienced a deployment bu the 1st I have experienced a deployment or flying out and him not being present for the holidays really suck but I do know it is there job. I randomly keep myself busy and often cry b/c its it is hard. But everyone stay strong and it will be a happy day for us all..Miss ODU

Thanks LindaB.  I know this long deployment has been so tough on the family and friends that have been in it since the beginning.  My prayers are with you.
