Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My sons is different he is Navy but is stationed with Marines they also have companies

i wanted to thank everyone for your support on this, he did get a chance to call  me yesterday and i shared some of your comments with him, i know that when we were saying our talk to you laters, he sounded better. i am sending him packages once a week and letters from me and his sister every other day. maybe his morale is down because that is the only  mail he gets - broken promises from friends and family - but at least he is getting mail right :)

SOXFANMARINEMOM....THEY ALL TRUELY APPRECIATE THE GUYS WHO COOK FOR THEM....I KNOW FOR A FACT....MY SON WORKED SOME IN FOOD PREP HIS FIRST DEPLOYMENT...AND HE USED TO SAY THINGS LIKE HE TOOK NAPS ON BOXES OF PEAS...hahahahaha!!!!!! sorry he is not feeling appreciated, you know how men are...they don't let people know they appreciate them!!!  imagine he is on a ship with how many?????  hahahaha!!!  hang in there people...time is flying by...be active with your congress people and executive branch in making good policy concerning our military....i stay on top of mine!!!
